Herbal medicine and remedies use in Yaxkin Spa are organically grown in the Hacienda Chichen property and selected by our own Mayan Spa therapists and healers. This ensures purity, quality (no sprayed pesticides) and freshness. Our Maya healers personally prepare the herbal mix for the sancochos, or herbal Mayan cleansing fusion, applied at the end of each ritual to the skin to cleanse the impurities of the skin and remove any organic pastes or excess oils from the body.
